Internet Sexual Corruption

This article is not about paedophilia, although there is undoubtedly a link between that and Internet porn sites.  Here, we are more concerned with the harm caused to children by their viewing pictures and videos of a sexually explicit kind.  The issue of children coming into contact with, and being 'groomed' by, paedophiles is addressed in another article.

Children today have access to pornographic material on the World Wide Web that would have caused outrage thirty years ago.  It is doubtful whether many twelve-year old boys in the UK  have not visited a hard-porn site at least once, in spite of the best efforts of their parents to protect them from such highly unsuitable material.
