The
problem in brief
The fierce debate raging about the benefits or otherwise of vaccinations
is getting stronger and, as a caring parent, you need to be part
of it. The general public no longer defer to government and medical
community claims that vaccinations are the best - or only - answer
to protecting our children's health.
"The vaccine business has continued
to thrive in spite of its disastrous failure, for the mere reason
that it nets millions of dollars for the promoters, and this buys
power with governments and propaganda control over the masses who
don't know how to think for themselves."
Eleanor McBean PhD (The Poisoned Needle) www.soilandhealth.org/
Bad ingredients, worse side effects
Vaccines contain many toxic substances which can have severe adverse
effects on vulnerable children and adults. Formaldehyde, for instance
- which is contained in every vaccine - is extremely toxic and there
is no safe level for the human body. Vaccines also contain mercury
and aluminium compounds - also known to be toxic and to cause allergic
reactions. In fact, vaccines have been linked with all kinds of
auto immune disorders, such as asthma, eczema, autism, ADD, ADHD,
multiple sclerosis, lupus, Guillain Barre paralysis, cancer and
chronic fatigue. Most, if not all, of these conditions have shown
a dramatic increase over the past twenty years or so. Vaccines have
also been linked with the development of epilepsy, permanent brain
damage and death.
Vaccines cannot provide life-long immunity - only natural infection
can do that - so even those who get some protection from a vaccine
will only be protected for a comparatively short time, leaving them
susceptible to many of these childhood diseases as adults - when
the risks from the diseases can be much greater.
Dr Myhill of health advice website www.drmyhill.co.uk suspects that: "… immunisations result in an overall
gradual erosion of the immune system. This is compounded by excessive
use of antibiotics, excessive use of hygiene (mothers who bring
up their children in squeaky clean environments put them at high
risk of allergy and asthma), the depletion of micronutrients in
our diets as a result of modern food choices and agriculture techniques
and the exposure to toxins such as pesticides and heavy metals."
Dr Myhill believes that some vaccinations are essential such as
polio, tetanus, diphtheria and possibly whooping cough. But that
the evidence for other vaccinations is less certain and each case
needs dealing with individually.
She also believes that the evidence that the MMR vaccine causes
autism is strong and would not like to use this mixed vaccine in
any child. "In any case it is a complete waste of time giving
rubella to boys and mumps to girls. Girls do not need rubella vaccination
until they are sexually mature and by this time they will have had
a good chance to have the infection and be naturally immune. Measles
is a nasty illness and there probably is a case for vaccination
young, but not in combination with the other viruses."
Dr Myhill's philosophy is always "mimic Nature". A vaccination
will never produce the same strength of immunity as getting the
real infection. She worries about the "insidious erosion"
of the immune system through vaccinations. "Giving vaccinations
may block very useful cross immunity to other viruses. For example
there are some viruses which cause cancer. I do not wish to inadvertently
block immunity to one of those! We are constantly meeting new viruses
and our bodies have to learn to cope with them. We have no idea
of what long term problems we are storing up."
What can be done
Join the debate! Be aware of what is being proposed by government
and the medical community in your child's name. Question when and
whether to vaccinate your children. Are vaccinations safe at any
age? Will they have any long-term damage like mental retardation
or brain damage? Is there a greater chance of reoccurring ear infections,
colds and flus or other unknowns?
Will mass vaccination help to control the outbreaks of the diseases
they are administered for? Is there any other way to help protect
our children? Have scientists looked for any alternatives? Should
governments investigate more thoroughly the long-term effects of
vaccinations and how they will effect our children's lives years
down the road?
Only you can make the final decision regarding immunisation and
vaccination for your children - make sure it's an informed choice.
